Last Spring, Dr. Trina Stephens, a PGY3 in Plastic Surgery, was recognized with the UBC Department of Surgery’s Nis Schmidt History of Surgery Prize for her paper on the History of Gender Affirmation Surgery which she presented at Grand Rounds. The Royal College recently recognized her important work with the 2022 Charles Peter W. Warren History of Medicine Award.
