Stroke drug breakthrough could be first of many for B.C. biotech Primary Peptides – Vancouver Sun
Dr. William Jia (Neurosurgery), Dr. Max Cynader and Dr. Yu Tian Wang (UBC Brain Research Centre) founded the BC biotech company Primary Peptides to develop peptides for the treatment of neurological disorders. Primary Peptides has signed a $40-million development agreement for a new stroke treatment with a Chinese pharmaceutical giant.
