We had a great day showcasing research occurring throughout the department, followed by an awards reception dinner at the Vancouver Aquarium on The 20th Annual WB and MH Chung Research Day. Dr. Wally and Dr. Madeleine Chung set up an endowment ago to help fund Chung Research Day. They continue to show their support of our department to help recognize our research accomplishments and award winners. We thank them for making this day possible.
A BIG THANK-YOU to all the abstract reviewers, judges and presenters who made this day such a great showcase of the research in our Dept. Our keynote speaker Dr. Thomas Waddell (U. Toronto) and a panel of judges selected award winners from the plenary presentations, while other judges selected the winners from the short oral presentations. Congratulations to the award winners and everyone who made time to present their research.
