Learning Objectives:
- To discuss the methodology of Time-Driven Activity Based Costing (TDABC) and why it has gained more interest
- To review TDABC findings for interventions ranging from tonsillectomy to major head and neck reconstructions
- To consider findings that have been suggested in how costs can be reduced to increase healthcare value in otolaryngology
- To apply TDABC to the provincial Cochlear Implant Program in British Columbia
