2016 Chung Research Day a Success

On November 7th 2016 the 22nd Annual WB and MH Chung Research Day was held.

This event showcased the research endeavors of over 70 faculty, students and fellows in the Department of Surgery who presented a wide range of engaging topics in basic, clinical and education research.

The guest keynote speaker Dr. Ivar Mendez, the Fred H. Wigmore Professor and Unified Head of the Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan, delivered a lecture on his internationally renowned work in robotic and distance tele-mentoring surgery. It was an inspiration to all who were there.

Congratulations to all those who who took part in this successful event – particularly  those who received awards for their excellent presentations.
