On June 15, 2022, faculty, staff, and residents attended the Department of Surgery Academic Year-End Celebration. The Department gathered together in person for the first time since 2019 to honour this year’s award winners, graduating residents and graduates of the Master of Science in Surgery and Master of Global Surgical Care programs. Dr. Gary Redekop, the Department Head, congratulated the graduates and the award recipients and thanked faculty and staff for their contributions and tireless work. In recognition of the Department’s achievements, the event concluded with a celebratory dinner filled with great conversations and laughter.
