Dr. Garth Warnock, Professor
Dr. Garth Warnock (General Surgery) has been chosen to deliver the Paul Lacy Memorial Lecture at the 2017 International Pancreas and Islet Transplant Association (IPITA) congress at Oxford, UK. This biennial lecture is awarded to a clinician and/or scientist who has made substantial and lasting contributions to the field of experimental and/or human islet transplantation. Every two years, between congresses, the IPITA Council accepts nominations for, and selects the Paul Lacy Memorial Lecture recipient.
