Dr. Paris-Ann Ingledew Receives 2024 Killam Teaching Award

Dr. Paris-Ann Ingledew, Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Radiation Oncology, has been honored with the 2024 Killam Teaching Award for her outstanding contributions to medical education. With over 15 years of dedicated service, Dr. Ingledew has amassed an impressive 2750+ teaching hours at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Ingledew has a strong interest in inspiring medical students to pursue careers in oncology. She has co-developed several national initiatives to expose medical student to oncology during their training and has mentored over 60 undergraduate and postgraduate trainees to undertake scholarly medical education projects. Renowned for her innovative teaching methods and curriculum development, including the creation of a web-based oncology learning platform, Dr. Ingledew is a true inspiration and role model.
