Dr. Lucy Marzban (General Surgery) has received a 2016 Killam Teaching Prize, an university-wide award, given out annually in recognition of teaching excellence.
Award recipients are nominated by students, colleagues and alumni, for their ability to motivate and stimulate critical thinking, and their innovative approaches to teaching methodology and curricula.
Dr. Marzban’s MSc graduate student, Queenie Hui, has also received a CIHR graduate scholarship.
