Summary

Dr. Jason Faulds is a clinical instructor in the Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of British Columbia with a special interest in thoracoabdominal aortic surgery.  Dr. Faulds holds dual Royal College Certification in general surgery and vascular surgery, having completed both fellowships at the University of British Columbia. In addition to his surgical training, Dr. Faulds completed a Master’s of Health Science Degree at the UBC School of Population and Public Health. Following Royal College Certification, Dr. Faulds pursued additional training at Stanford University in complex endovascular aortic surgery under the supervision of Dr. Jason Lee. Dr. Faulds went on to complete a fellowship in open thoracoabdominal aortic surgery at the University of Texas-Houston under Dr. Hazim Safi, a world renowned expert in open thoracic aortic surgery. Dr. Faulds’ research focus is clinical outcomes of both open and endovascular aortic surgery. Dr. Faulds clinical practice encompasses all of vascular surgery including extra-cranial cerebrovascular disease, aortic aneurysm repair, open and endovascular peripheral interventions and the management of venous disease.
