Dr. Francois Letarte, a Colorectal Surgery Fellow working with Dr. Carl Brown (General Surgery) and the colorectal group at Providence Health, has won the Canadian Society of Colorectal Surgeons 2016 Clinical Research Grant for his proposal Day care ileostomy closure surgery – a multicentre randomized controlled trial.
