Surgical Foundations CRASH

Many junior surgical residents recently completed the Surgical CRASH (Competencies in Resuscitation and Stabilization of Hospital Patients) Course this October. This is an intense modular 1-month curriculum where learners are expected to rapidly acquire knowledge as well as cognitive and technical skills. This largely simulation-based course helps to prepare these residents to eventually shoulder the immense responsibility of providing care to the hospital’s most complex and unstable patients. Also part of the program is a team ropes course activity!
