Dr. Francis Lynn (General Surgery) and his PhD student Nicole Krentz have published their studies showing how the NEUROG3 transcription factor regulates pancreatic islet beta cell differentiation in the journal Developmental Cell. Dr. Nadine Caron receives Wallace Wilson Leadership Award
Dr. Nadine Caron (General Surgery) is the 2017 recipient of the UBC Medical Alumni Association Wallace Wilson Leadership Award. The annual Wallace Wilson Leadership Award is presented to a graduate who has demonstrated high ethical standards and outstanding leadership to the profession.
